Before Placing a Service Call...

You may possibly be able fix the problem yourself!

Problem: The air conditioner or heat won't come on.

Possible Solutions to try:

1. Check the thermostat for proper settings.

2. If you have a de-humidistat (looks like a thermostat and is usually next to the thermostat), check to make sure it is set properly.

3. Check the circuit breakers for tripped breakers. Reset if necessary but only do this 1 time if it is tripped. Call for service if they will not reset.

Problem: The unit runs but doesn't cool.

Solution: Try cleaning or replacing your filter. A dirty filter restricts air flow across your coil and your house will not cool as efficiently.
